Faith, family, leadership, and service have shaped my life, and I no longer try to separate them.
From my youth and as I matured, I was content to just faithfully serve my Creator, family and be a good steward at work and within my community. Today, I advise boards, chief executives, and executive leadership teams, speak to audiences across sectors, write, mentor young leaders, and continue to serve in ministry. Each of these draws on the same conviction. Sound judgment builds strong institutions, and the decisions we make now shape the people and the places we leave behind.
I have spent my life learning that stewardship takes many forms.
It can mean leading an organization through uncertainty, helping a board make a consequential decision, sitting with a community in the Niger Delta, or standing before a congregation on a Sunday morning. The setting changes, and so does the nature of the responsibility, but the call to serve faithfully remains.
I have spent much of my career in rooms where decisions carry weight. Boardrooms. Executive committees. Community negotiations. Congregations. In each, I have been reminded that leadership is ultimately about more than authority or achievement. It is about the responsibility we carry for others, the judgment we exercise when the path is unclear, and what we choose to leave behind.
That question has shaped my work: What kind of leader will you be when the outcome is uncertain and everyone is watching?
I believe leadership earns its true measure through what it leaves standing.

Faith & Service
My faith in God is the foundation of how I live, lead and serve. Through ministry, mentorship and community service, I seek to use what I have been given to strengthen others, invest in the next generation and contribute to the communities around me.

Executive Advisory
Through BAAMI Advisory, I advise Boards, Chief Executives and executive leadership teams on governance, leadership effectiveness, executive communication and organizational transformation, helping leaders strengthen judgment, navigate complexity and make better decisions when the stakes are highest.

Speaking
I speak to diverse audiences: executives, business and professional groups, academia, faith communities and emerging leaders. Each room asks a different question but what remains constant is the importance of how we think, the choices we make and the judgment we bring to the responsibilities before us.

Board Service
Serving on Boards allows me to contribute directly to the governance and stewardship of institutions, bringing a perspective shaped by both executive leadership and advisory work.
Board service requires sound judgment, thoughtful stewardship and collective accountability. It has deepened my understanding of Board dynamics, strengthened my appreciation for effective governance, and enriched the perspectives that I bring to my advisory work.
The Legacy Project
Mentoring, scholarships, ministry and the causes to which I give my time and energy. This work has to do with giving back as it reflects my commitment to invest in people, strengthen communities and leave a legacy that extends beyond my professional work.

I founded BAAMI Advisory to help raise the quality of decisions made at the top of organizations.
Boards and Executive Teams rarely fail for want of information. They do because the wrong question reached the room, or because nobody named the pressure everyone in it was feeling.
